This concerns the Canon S100

Since its first use in video mode, the AF system slams and makes noise to playing videos.
and following diff. contacts and technical requests, I always expect Canon's answer on this for months !!!
Canon France never officially replied in relation to this defect.
Second incident happened this week at the 523 th photo, Canon broke down and yet I am particularly fussy with my products high tech ..
For the first time, the objective remained blocked and returned more.
Error messages displayed on the screen

Automatic closing
Restart the APN
In short i tried everything changed battery and SD card and not run it I've seen in the reviews and forums that this sometimes occurred on the S100 I'm more confident about the quality of this unit and not at all interested on a repair warranty service.
As explained in customer service from Amazon I want a refund or a possibly get from them to have to buy a new camera more efficient and more reliable an amount greater than the Canon
To date, I wait always DEFINITIVE a response to my request.
FYI Canon is almost new because very little used (about 5 to 600 photos) Sincerely ERIC

This morning, after about ten days, I have finally got my Canon S100 Canon repaired by the customer service department (located in Germany, seems you !!)
Block "Optical" and shutter changed .. That alone !!!
Firmware updated, conducted tests and found true by the SAV Canon service.

So for the record, if you meet the noises AF in video mode, and although this is the beginning of trouble then it ends up a blocked goal ..
