Perhaps in addition to the good image even more positive aspects: with the included remote control you might as well turn on the TV at least and switch to the appropriate HDMI input. Well, that's nice, but I expect by now also at least for the one you wanted prices. Then the OSD is kept fairly up to date and clearly. With my old Philips 7600 that looked even more Sega / nes like from (although also a pretty good model was then). When H6500 you can not complain in this regard.
Negative initially falls on the extremely boring look. This is a small mini Bluray player with boring front, black plastic and a uninspired display that looks bleak to say the least. I do not know when I've seen so little information on the screen and then packaged so carelessly the last time. The optics department of Samsung should there really time to make surveys, because the thing looks really bleak.
Then a rather annoying feature: the volume of the player. I sit so well 2m away from the screen and has so far actually the films do not really enjoy, because the drive is soo loud. I knew so far as no longer (the Phillips described is much quieter) and is also inexplicable to me where this retrogression comes from.
Another problem: the player plays after update (1103) no 3D Blurays from (tested with Transformers 3, Star Trek Into Darkness and Tron Legacy). It comes just a message that this Blurays a 3D-compatible player would need ... yes, I would have thought ... I was wrong ... I have therefore contacted Samsung, who then forwarded my email to the R & D department ... the should have been clarified before launch and not afterwards. Sure, like you can fix with an update ... but in the overall picture, I decided to return the player.
Too bad Samsung, which was a significant setback.
