On the first computer (Acer Aspire 1551) without external wireless softbutton) with Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit running the WLAN module after installing the original Intel Vista driver problems and to my complete satisfaction.
In second computer (Acer Aspire 5530 from 2008, with Windows 7 Premium 32 bit) did the same module only problems.
The installation of various Intel driver (there are offered 4 different!) Was not successful. The system was not operational.
Windows 7 did not start and / or shut down.
The solution was then to install the special software Acer (Launch Manager), which controls the WLAN button and a special Acer driver for the Intel card from a Acer 8735 (G)
The wireless card now works flawlessly and to my complete satisfaction.
