Problems with backup of SIM cards

The card reader is in and of itself really well, pleasantly small, well made and visually - with blue lighting - a real eye-catcher. To read simcards additional software is required, the beliegt the article (on a mini-CD).
Unfortunately, the software maintains, however only partially what it promises: indeed might the (three) I tested all simcards on PC display (both contacts - limited to name and number - as well as the saved SMS was visible) and also Changes to the map content (delete, add) were possible. The function for which I have but the reader ever bought - saving the SIM contents to the PC (Sim Backup) - unfortunately not working. There was always an error message. This was very disappointing ...

Anyone looking for a good card reader, which offers the possibility to check sim cards on PC and edit is served here well. However, those who also want to save the contents of SIM cards (like me), will probably not be happy here ...
