The manual is sufficient for the installation, but totally nonexistent for operation.
An email address is required to register the device and receive alerts, but laposte.net server is not recognized by Gigaset. The problem is known but not Gigaset correction hope. You will need to create another address on another email server.
The device can be set and monitored on PC, tablet or phone, but there are no instructions and although the functions are very limited, it is not always easy especially since the presentation is totally different between PC and phone. The call to phone support is indispensable. The cradle you in broken French for most consultants. Few know the product and if the question is not basic it takes the response from the second level which itself is not very familiar with the product.
The door sensor requires frequent calibration.
The random motion sensor detects movement. There is no LED to indicate a recognition.
The alarm on the phone in case of intrusion is very quiet, so quiet that no one hears virtually even with the volume cranked. It's still annoying to an alarm system.
Extra accessories are expensive and some like camera requires a subscription.
This is an experimental product sold at the price of a finished product. The reputation of Gigaset I placed high enough sank quickly.
