The first attempts unfolded not, we tried everything possible. After I had been thinking about the part again to send back, I tried it a few more times alone (with other numbers) and lo and behold, suddenly it went on. But then again several failed attempts until finally it became clear how the system works: The number wheel counter-clockwise (with resistance) until the first number (thereby the first metal disc placed in the correct position), then with the clock until the second whereby the second disc is positioned correctly and the door can be opened. Since I neither safecracker am still owner of a safe with such a dial, a guide would have been extremely helpful and would have saved a lot of time and frustration.
