I received this today (Saturday 16 for an order 12 to 21h!), Well packaged and in perfect condition.
Use: to play a video on an external display from a first-generation iPad. This works perfectly well, without any adjustment or special handling. It connects on one side the iPad, another screen with the video and audio jacks and running. It works as well with the video playback application that apple downloaded third party applications (I tested with VLC for iPad).
To see if the product fits in the long term. The same product manufactured and sold by Apple costs 39 (plus delivery!) ...
