Much has already been written, so I shall confine myself to mE essential aspects:
1. Install Updates
First, all updates should be downloaded and installed.
It is obviously very important that the tablet is set to the correct time and the correct date. Best Internet time can be set automatically, before leaving to check for updates.
Although the update Search and -Install is annoying: With a little patience, the right timing and regular restart between each update packages worked at least for me right away everything perfectly.
2. SIM
I have no problems SIM. I am using an (approximately 1 year old) original telecom multi-SIM. PIN code request and Dial-Up Network functioned anyway problems with me. Of course I have WiFi turned off, to test the data communication. Everything worked fine.
3. Keyboard
The attached Bluetooth keyboard has a German QWERTZ layout in the design. The Return key goes through two rows of buttons. The keys Ä and + and # are smaller than the remaining keys. (See photo)
The keys have a slight click. Writing works well, but can not be compared with a large desktop keyboard. A backlight is missing. The slide switch on and off is small and mechanically, but can be used with your fingernail.
The palm rest area has a slight leather effect.
The magnetic mounting works, but you have to align successive tablet and keyboard by hand, so that they are flush.
4. Sound
Amazing and surprising, what the small speaker for producing a great sound which can not be compared, of course, with a hi-fi system, but is still very good.
5. Screen
Excellent. Somehow sad that in a Lenovo Yoga Tablet incorporates a top screen in the business notebooks of the ThinkPad series - with a few exceptions - in my eyes, however extremely dependent on viewing angle screens.
6. Design
Very thoughtful and unique. Although the folding stand has a click. Nevertheless, the inclination angle can be changed. The tablet is very firm.
The back is slightly rubberized and ribbed. This allows you to hold the tablet very well in hand.
7. Processing
Top. I have discovered no defects.
8. Device Encryption
Is available and can be activated via the PC settings.
9. Negative: Memory
Unfortunately, only 32GB memory are available, of which only 17,9GB follow during the commissioning still about 20GB, after the updates free.
Of course, the memory can be "expanded" by Micro-SD cards. Despite the built-in memory for program installation is very limited.
10. Summary
I am very satisfied with the device.
