Dear parents and carers (inside) of fever patients, after we were looking for a forstschrittliche fever measurement method for our 16 months old son, I came from Amazon on the Medisana 76120. After unpacking and a first assessment, I was impressed by the design and high quality finish. But in practical use, I realized sadly that the thermometer sets a pretty high measurement inaccuracy of the day and so to a degree Celsius! differs in measurement results. Of course I have the identical measuring point sighted in immediately afterwards carried out control measurements with the same distance and in this case I got jeweile always different, sometimes widely differing results. I could not take my measurement experiments (unfortunately) train intensively due to a 3-day fever occurred my son would ask measurement results were also having some practice over and over again the undesired result. Conclusion: In my experience, the Themometer is not suitable for monitors of fever curves, but the results are in a high bandwidth. I have already ordered a ear thermometer from which I expect a higher accuracy and will return the Medisana device to Amazon.
