GONE GIRL is different from everything I've read so far added, I'm not Krimifan, usually the story is lax, predictable or unrealistic -; this book here is captivating. The mini-synopsis reads like a description of an ordinary thriller: man and woman are married for five years on the anniversary of disappearing woman, man is the prime suspect. It is particularly on the narrative that you alternately of Nick, the husband, and Amy, the wife gets portrayed facts. Nothing is as it seems, is it? The author understands it anyway until quite recently skillfully around the reader out of the nose. And it works the book then you have to realize what is happening just now. The great thing about GONE GIRL for me is that it is in spite of absence of Blood & Gore thrilling, surprising and ill. So that you can sit there and say: Holy Crap. Definitive buy recommendation.
