I bought one for me and I bought one for my best friend. This is the best tip I could find! Cheap and very effective. It covers your console even if there is a slight excess space (which is the case of all protections 3DS XL, all brands).
You can store 3 set of cartridges that really tight fit in the top of the carrying case. And there's a little more protection to protect your "protected"!
