I bought this apron for my MTB, which I use exclusively in the city. I now had my first ride in the rain. My pants has remained almost completely clean, only my shoes have gotten some splashes, but can hardly avoid, I think. A proper fender on the front wheel would be more effective with certainty, but I think this is not good from the appearance I decided for this variant, which does not even look that bad. I have attached the apron with cable ties at the wheel, because I always permanently off and leave it there can not be so easily stolen so. If one is not necessarily the lawn in the rain, this protection should be sufficient. On Hinterrrad I use the SKS X-tra Dry, which is easily and quickly let in rain attach to the seat post.
