Got myself to snowboarding the protector, it protects very well so you do not notice small to medium-sized drops. What also is still positive, the integrated kidney belt additionally warms the sensitive area. The only negative to the protector is its thickness, you constantly feel to wear a backpack which interferes with sitzten. But all in all a recommendable protection.
