So a heading and then only 1 star? Right! Unfortunately, more than sarcasm does not comes to mind, I'm sorry! For all Windowsler to calm: I've been using for a year Mac. So I am an enemy and as such does not count my opinion :-). My wife wanted to absolutely have a laptop and has one bought with Vista Home Premium. Hurrah! I had many years of experience (unfortunately not good) with XP and was also in reasonably fit. One must, if one's every 2 weeks has new play. In any case, work out with Vista even such simple things like a Mac on the network detect (with XP no problem) or a network printer to install (with XP in a matter of 2 minutes) is not at all more. If you have found time in this completely crowded and confusing system settings folder by good luck and try the right button, it just does not work! Hurrah! Beautiful new world! By comparison, the training period from XP to Mac OS X at the time half an hour amounted. That's no joke! After half an hour I had my Mac configured as I wanted it, including network printers and connect to PC for data recovery. Without manual or instruction. Intuitively. As simple as it can go! Then the known problem with Windows Mail: My wife had after 3 days the first email in the Outbox, which can no longer read and delete so has blocked all other outgoing emails. The problem is known, there is only one solution per freeware from a third party. Ok, Vista's only been a few days on the market, because you can not have any problem solved equal ... Then this operating system consumes resources so that a dizzy if you look at the times makes clear (per gadget or widget or whatever, the main thing pop buntig!). There are permanent 50% of 2GB (!!) memory occupied and the processor (Intel Core Duo) Rast already when you move a window in the red zone. Luckily I edit my photos on the Mac, with Vista, I would not feel it ... I am so glad that I once chose the Mac and have nothing more to do with all this misery! Luckily my wife does not make much with her laptop, so that even the chance that the thing remains reasonably intact. Well, from the problem with mail aside times ... I for my cases would soon increase to Leopard and be happy about an operating system that supports me in my work and not additionally caused work! Maybe I would not be so disappointed if I did not know Mac OS X. But I know that there are operating systems that are not only resource-efficient, reliable and intuitive work, but make really fun! Well, the monopoly Microsoft makes it just possible that such a thing has to worry about. It needs anyway everyone why the heck then be good?
