Gillian Flynn's early novel is a story in search of a voice. While the plot is wonderfully dark and twisted and punctuated with truly surprising twists, her heroine is a cub with a cub postpone postpone's voice: unsteady, Occasionally brilliant, Sometimes clumsy. It is a fascinating read, though, Especially For Those Who-have read Dark Places and Gone Girl, as the reader can contemplate the novelist's literary growth from Sharp Objects to her later work. I would could-have four stars, goal scoring That means clustering That I "adored" the book. I liked it very much; Gone Girl with cam adoration.
