I tried several systems to retrieve my slides:
- A small scanner that slides rollei lent me (not good)
- A ring of reversal eos / 52mm also bought on amazon (unconvincing)
- Replicator (excellent)
I have not tried flatbed scanners (not performing they say everywhere) or slides scanners (reflecta) too expensive) or specialized services (too expensive for 2000 slides).

I mounted it on my 7D duplicator with my 50mm 1.8, you need to crop a little or do a few rotations but cannon DPP software works fine and easily.
I tried with my 70-300 zoom to avoid at least the cropping phase, but I have not succeeded in the development ...
