The design and of course the advertising imprint suggest here would be a pure sports bag before. But the subtle and almost single-color model's basically nothing more than a shoulder bag, which may well serve well for the journey. I use the pocket but actually and virtually every day as a sports bag.
But what elevates this bag more than the average.
1) unique selling proposition
Similarly, a union tent run here two plastic braces diagonally across the bag top. Thereby, the entire pocket (all sides and therefore the surface) is tensioned and supported. Big advantage: the three large main compartments (front, rear, center) are thus fully expanded, even when empty and easily accessible. Unpack unpack, sort, and find thus much easier than in the conventional bags which coincide more (nylon) or less (leather) in itself. The mere wearing an unstable bag not only looks modest, but it is also uncomfortable. The bag can also be folded and thus space-saving storage.
2.) arrangement, number and distribution of subjects is optimal:
- Front and rear depending on a subject with rather a triangular base (approximately 18/13 cm). Height i. M. 27 cm. Optimal to things (which may not be to fall: ... shower gel bottles) upright transport.
- In the middle is the main compartment. In open cover almost the entire volume (about 40 x 20 x 30 cm) is accessible.
- Inside the main compartment is above a side (not that) sewn small, flat pocket for valuables (about 10 x 20 cm).
- Front one flat pocket (about 34 x 30 cm) is discontinued. Optimal order books, magazines (DIN A4) or to stow the Tablet PC.
- On the back you will find the official "glove compartment", which can accommodate up to two pairs of shoes. The bag is behind the "flap" at a reduced course, filling the volume of the main compartment accordingly. Incidentally, the lid is provided with ventilation openings in order to ensure at least a certain ventilation.
All the above subjects are fitted with zippers. The "glove compartment" exception (because fitting normally on the clothes) are all slide handles fitted with long flag made of rubber. The zipper pulls are easy to spot and grab. By the way: Here the leichtgängisten zippers were installed that I have ever used.
- External mesh pocket. Provided as bottle holders by the manufacturer. Since I never hand need a bottle on the bag, but these previously out and take with on the scene, I store here quickly grabbed prepare things such. B. locker key, membership card, car keys ... Since this bag is affixed inside the front , one can immediately discontinued or access without twisting the bag. Top !!!
3.) The processing sets standards:
-The Outer skin of the bag consists mostly of 420 diamond rip-stop. Especially the front and back, some areas are equipped with strong rubberized material. These areas are also fed and thus very stable and robust. All seams are perfectly stitched.
- The thinner inner material is sewn on all edges. Nowhere you will encounter loose threads or frayed edges.
- The two handles and removable shoulder strap are made of very strong and tightly woven nylon. Unlike most competitors that Henkel / handles on the bag are the "anchor points" very reinforced and sewn repeatedly. Thus, tearing at maximum load should not be done.
Who operates (label lt.) Can also be a life (in the EU 30-year) guarantee grant. Except for malicious damage, misuse and normal wear and tear.
- The soil is stabilized by two sewn plastic sheets. The outer material seems to be made of durable Cordura.
4.) shoulder strap is not the same shoulder
The shoulder strap is adjustable in length, of course. What distinguishes him also, is:
- Metal eyelets on the pocket, metal pen on plastic carabiner, joint between belt and carbines (thus no twisting of the belt - even tackled properly is always the outside actually outside). - Because the carbine plastic and the eyelet is made of metal, it comes to no unpleasant noises (creaking in metal on metal or plastic on plastic) while wearing.
- The shoulder strap has a reinforced and sliding padding. This is rubberized on the bottom. Big advantage: once positioned perfectly on the shoulder remains this in place and the belt moves freely within the tab.
5.) From practice
The bag is almost daily use and for sports without special equipment (helmets, bats, balls more ...) perfectly adequate. The volume is specified by the manufacturer with 50 liters. In "escalating" events I have 3 pairs of bike shoes, 1 pair slippers, 4 x Towels, 3 x 0.75 liter bottles, 2 x 1.5 liters of mineral water, 3 complete sets bike clothes (short), 1 bread, 1 banana, about 5 bars, shower gel, deodorant and various small parts transported without problems. But filled only halfway makes the bag always a great figure. However, I would advise everyone sweaty clothes to put previously in plastic bags. You never know what havoc the sweat on time with the material of the bag.
6) What has not the market
I currently have five and four sports bags Sports backpacks ... and still had a lot more. For years, I am looking for a bag, the quality, functionality and design, combines in a way that adjusts itself in the use satisfaction, and not frustration. What mainly offer the well-known sporting goods company here is truly MORE CLASSES under the OGIO Flexform. Poor quality, unstable, have too little or too small pockets ... And even specialists and their specialties compared to this model in the cold.
Unfortunately OGIO is hardly represented in Germany. It is therefore a shame that this great product is unknown and will probably remain so, unfortunately. The bag Flexform there is in this country only with advertising printing (here: Men's Health). It concerns with OGIO to a reputable manufacturers from the USA, mainly made a name with golf bags. The home is neat and informative. There is even a product video to your pocket.
