Here is a very nice look kettle boils 1.7 liters of water in 4.35 minutes flat. The judgment of the heater is automatic. The valve cover is practical, remains whether it is solid and if the spring withstand heavy use. The container is made of glass: no chlorine or plastic residues + easy to clean and de-scale. The "text" is the base. I find it a bit light and it would tend to "fly" when retrieving the kettle (but that may be because I am not very difficult with hardware ^^). I did not notice or plastic taste or smell. In short, a pretty kettle that does what we ask.
