Puzzle game for primary school children

To clean the island of snow, stones are collected with the same symbols and ice away in a hundred levels. When touching three identical symbols, they can be removed by clicking and slip up new stones after. During each round can alternate between three different modes of the players, in addition to Click are replacing or marking. The last function is in the game, however, almost never before.
If you want to change tactically between the modes, must reckon with a disappointment: Once the "Move" icon is clicked, suddenly disappear all items that lie in a row, another slip and the situation is completely different than before. On the other hand, this change saves a lot of work.
But completing the tasks is not always easy: worms block the way down and can be driven only by skillfully removing the adjacent stones.

Penguins feed

Between the symbols sometimes find fish. If this land at the bottom, the penguins eat them and then put on request your special functions. What are they? I do not want to reveal too much. But one thing is important: In the later levels, these special functions are partly necessary so that you can win. You should therefore they wield it thoughtfully.

Tactics, luck and time

In principle, it's fun to think about the best ways to complete the tasks in each level. Disturbing I find that a chain reaction is triggered by the change in the displacement function principle and tactical action is not possible here. In addition, the tasks are partly just plain boring. It is relatively common, for example, that fifty Flowers need to be collected, in the fields but only six are distributed sporadically. Since then many other symbols must be removed so that new flowers fall. This has nothing to do with strategy. In addition, never the current level number is displayed, also was in my opinion poorly resolved.
Overall, the change between each level is low. The level will be more difficult with time, but in between there are always simple level. The most fun Yeti Quest makes therefore, if it is not played at a time.
The Yeti comes by the way only a marginal role - in the truest sense of the word.
The graphics are quite simple in design and very little animated. Who looks at the cover, has already seen the most. For a pure tactical game but that's okay. The end, however, was quite neglected, the cheering factor appears to be larger even with Spider Solitaire. The music is pretty good for such a game and does not go straight to the nerves.
Yeti Quest is suitable for children from primary school age, who have fun brainstorming. However, an adult should read the texts at the beginning of younger children, so they know what to do. Otherwise there is easy frustration, though of course some may be discovered by trial and error. The texts come only in the first levels prior to kick-start.
