The device operates as an active Hub with Power Adapter (included is a power supply with Euro plug and voltage input of 100-240V ~ 50/60 Hz), as well as a passive hub without power supply. In passive mode the power supply of connected devices are of course limitations on. To accept, but this is not justified by the stroke.
In terms of speed resulted in a non-representative measurement that of a USB 2.0 flash drive about 11 MB / s could be transferred through the hub, which an acceptable result.
The included padded travel case does not take the stroke on, but the power supply (PSU-dimensions about 9 x 4.2 x 6.7 cm). The connection cable of the power supply is adequately dimensioned with about 1.85 m length. The enclosed USB connection cable with about 35 cm clear of the main field of application "Notebook" meant and probably too short for many PC applications. Important: When USB connection cable is a cable from plug type A to Mini-B (5-pin), which should be considered when purchasing a longer cable.
Unfortunately, Logitech uses a blister pack, which can be opened only with a lot of effort and certainly has a worse environmental impact than a cardboard package. But it would be unfair to solely deduct an entire star. Therefore, it remains at a total of five stars for a quality product, as I expected from the house of Logitech.
