The new Bluetooth speakerphone brings me two developments. The transition to the Bluetooth 4.0 standard (OR 3 was in Bluetooth 3.0), which consumes less energy and therefore increases the autonomy, both the loudspeaker when operating on battery and phone or tablet which is connected wirelessly.
The second development is simply the design of the device. The OR3 was spherical, rather massive. The BlueSync is longitudinal, with a pretty turquoise blue façade (which hides a small LED indicating the status of the device: connected / Research / off). Personally, I prefer this design classic.
The object appears solid with good quality plastic for the hull.
The Bluetooth pairing works fine (tested with 2 different Acer smartphones): a pressure of 5 seconds on the "play" button, the speakerphone goes into research, and immediately appears on Bluetooth devices nearby.
Finally, the sound quality is very good for a wireless device of this size.
A very good mobile speaker, which home has done its job to put some music in the bathroom in the morning without having to plug tons appliances or searching for remotes.
