Negative experiences:
I have a Sony Alpha 77, and right there is also already the hare buried. The lens blends in terms of autofocus not really with the camera, which manifests itself even through a front and times by a back focus. Since the Sony fortunately has the ability to correct these errors manually and per objective to save from, the focus is now agreed on the distance, but then again no longer near. Rejection rate was 97% .It was really annoying, so I sent it back.
Positive experiences:
However, if you manually focused, really came out with impressive images. Furthermore, the Ultrachallmotor is very silent and works very nimble.
Conclusion:
Here Sigma regret to rework still because Sony is the only manufacturer that can not with this lens.
I ordered after a Sony 50mm 1.8 for 150. What can I say, the quality of the material and feel can not be compared with the Sigma, no question. But the pictures are perfect in the autofocus to 99%. There simply is always auto focus and I've never had to focus itself.
