The ball moves very smoothly and locks efficiently and without movement for perfect framing.
Only default screwing fast plates on the camera requires a tool or a coin as already said by other buyers while competitors offer integrated folding system (-1 star). Good once the plate under your device is not changed every 5 minutes anyway.
