Quality at an unbeatable price - buy recommendation for EOS 1000D owners!

For battery grip [BG]:
Clean processing, which seems the Canon Original nazustehen in nothing.
No strange smells on the part of any chemicals / adhesives.
On my EOS 1000D BG fits snugly and loose finds useful is an integrated Verstauungsmöglichkeit the battery cover of the camera,
this must be removed for mounting the handle on the camera (a handle and already it has happened) and can be stowed sideways loss safely in a dedicated slot in the battery grip.
In the BG itself 2 different shafts can be retracted, this is done without hesitation and procrastination also accurately and positively.
The first tray holds 2 batteries and thus veroppelt battery power, should still times both batteries run out while a photo tour, can alternatively be used a battery compartment which holds 6 AA Mignon cells. However, these have nowhere near the capacity as the batteries.
The rubber coating on the handle indulges the hand more than the camera bodysuits, it is soft and grippy tires and therefore the hand is not as fast.

Controls:
All buttons work very well made, nothing really feels "cheap" to, comfort, usability and quality totally convincing. At first I had indeed "Search" the dial when I did vertical shooting, but that's probably just getting used to things frequently.

Please note:
Through the battery grip the camera body is still significantly higher.
Loaded with 2 batteries and a Canon 55-200mm USM II Teleobjetiv is, from my initially still compact 1000D with wide angle lens but quickly quickly a bulky device, in terms weight and dimensions.
For freehand Photography of BG stabilizes the body and shifts weight a little backwards, which is quite beneficial in larger, front-heavy lenses, yet in the long run a tripod from emergencies, providing further sticking point provides:
My tripod tolerated the total weight is limited.
Nevertheless: The extra plus of 2 batteries has convinced me in the end, as well as other customer reviews for this product.
For me, the alternative to the Canon original, are once again in no relation with the price-performance.

The BG of Phottix fun, looks good and feels good, I regretted not buying (to date).

Among the batteries: the two Phottix bonus batteries were now scarce 2-3 months now set his service with me in use, the first has around 5 charge cycles and has become unusable. Quality goods I did not expect at this price, but 5 charging cycles are definitely not tolerable ... The BG continues to do his job and I do become a valuable companion + my 1000D looks so easy a lot better;)
