Quality defects (at least for 14W44)

Had two of these devices in white. In principle, a very great device, as already described by many reviewers. Unfortunately, probably has the batch (read on the paper clip in the SIM slot) from week 44 of 2014, well quality defects. On my first instrument I had an oversized gap on the upper rear side (see photo). When pressure is applied to the white frame, the gap closes. According to Amazon employees, the water tightness is thereby already times not available - great.

So requested a replacement - again get one from the 14W44 charge. Now although there was no gap up, but one on each long side - with the same behavior.

The unit is close to my otherwise very good in the hand, the speed is significantly higher than the one Midrangers (had a front with S400 SoC). Was frankly surprised that it makes such a difference. Sony has also unfortunately sloppy with the firmware so that VBR audio files from and to a misfire have - this behavior, only worse, I had with other Sony smartphones. And each time was the (mis) configuration of the firmware have been to blame, not the instrument per se. Most often, the first version of the firmware had no problems updates (eg to 4.4.4) have shown the misconduct.

Very unfortunate.
