Quality is what this drive does best.

This is a great drive. The quality can be felt via the solid construction (no plastic anywhere) and the 5 year warranty.
It is therefore no slouch, my Windows index mark for storage has gone up to 7.6 from the default HDD 5.9. I will not bore you with other benchmarks but They are terrific.
Boot up times are lightening fast.
Just have to remember to turn off automatic defragging, indexing and you are right.
But one of the major selling points That is not advertised is the excellent Intel SSD Toolbox and the free migration software from Acronis.
Using it all is a breeze.
Simply a top drive.
