+ Packing well. Almost all parts individually wrapped, cardboard, Styrofoam and bubble wrap.
Now for the negatives.
- Telescopic unpacked, read the manual and the way the Assembly tried to make. And I realized that the steps described in the manual have not necessarily to do with the real object on something. (Parts are different than described or pre-assembled, other not yet mounted.)
-As I wanted to push the pipe clamp rail in the mount, I realized that the track was made too wide.
I decided the 60km from Munich to Landsberg am Lech down where Astroshop is based and limited to replacing the part after I had called ahead and an email wrote.
An employee on site then assured me to the part of the evening to mill a bit, so that it would fit again. He would then send the same to me again, max. 3 days should take that. Get I got the part then for 2 weeks later after I wrote 2 emails and phoned about 4 times with the store.
On Friday came at last the package, but I had until Sunday time the rail to assemble.
The track suits, but the staff has forgotten me the two screws that are used to attach the Tubusschellen mitzuschicken. Bolts of this size, I had unfortunately not in the house, at least not freely available so I had a kitchen chair unscrew in order to get the appropriate screws.
The Odyssey is not enough.
When I had the tube now assembled and brought into balance, of course, I wanted to make it equal to watch something. Now it was only conditionally something unfortunately I had to realize that the threads of Polhöhenschraube is not made properly, so that the screw has eaten in the thread.
Actually, the telescope should be a gift for Christmas. I believe it is nothing more now. The down time again to Landsberg I do not have unfortunately and by mail is a new telescope probably arrive until the new year.

To look I can not say anything, an observation was not granted to me.
I expect a 249 Euro Telescopic miracles and I am aware that you have to make a few concessions to the quality at this price. But what I would hope is that one my items previously tried once, especially when you know that come the parts of China, and there is no quality control (original statement of the employee in the store.) To provide customers with such a negative experience to spare.
Since I also want to buy an own telescope to me, I'll take a few more euros into their own hands and invest in a EQ-5 mount.
