Quality is very good, the magnet keeps safe when you lay the device flat and the cable directly next to it. So the seals remain intact. Even the Micro USB holds bombproof.
One must not forget that Sony had such adapters not provided. Rather, the magnetic contact has been designed for the docking station (You can tell because the homescreen switches to horizontal when loading via adapter)
