Quiet is releativ. This plate is not comparatively quiet

I had bought the disc because many reviews say here, they would quietly. In fact, it is one of the loudest in my 1TB 5400UPM backup collection. The sound is typical Hitachi noise in the higher frequency range. Also the Click the (presumably) takes the heads to the starting position, is audible.

What bothers me is that a lot because my computer (3 Macs) no audible noise make (SSDs, quiet fans), but this record as a Time Machine disk to permanently and starts. I will not send them back, however, because I can still use another. But to whom volume is important to take better another.

The speed is measured with Blackmagic 60MB / s and 74MB Registered / s read, measured in a FW800 enclosure. This is normal for a 5400 disk.
