The screwless installation is not ideal for my case. By Although only slightly protruding heads of the plastic pins I could not close the sidewall. The enclosed 7 Volt adapter is nice, but totally unnecessary. On the one hand the fan does not start at 7 volts. On the other hand you can not hear the fan yes even at 12 volts.
