Quite complicated for a beginner player

I'm not familiar with the history of the samurai, falling on the film "Ghost dog", the voice of the Samurai, "I liked the maxims, it made me want to read" Hagakure "but for my part I got bored reading it, I had big DIFFICULTIES (being a beginner player), a little too complicated to decipher the maxims and especially repetitive !!! Many writes for finalemnt always say the same thing.
I think someone much more experienced apprécira the book.
In any case, the lessons, discipline and respect that had the samurai, it really impressed me.
