Materials and workmanship are impeccable. The buttons are meticulously crafted, no sharp edges, all statements meticulously crafted. Also, I found that the keyboard plus looks good. It looks kind of dibasic, however spaces as in piano lacquer finish available that are prone to fingerprints.
The keypad illumination can be set blue, red and pink colors. This all goes without a driver, just over a button for color selection and a rotary control for brightness. Very convenient!
The keystroke I felt as good and pleasant. The keystroke sounds dull (not by clacking), which I find enjoyable.
Also, the keystroke is soft and firm. Compared to the keyboard of Perrixx with the model name PX-3000 I found this to be more pleasant.
The side lighting is nice, but not have been necessary for me.
Super, I found that the palm rests are pulled out and thus could be extended. There, if I remember right, 3 positions. Once all the way in and two other settings, if that is pulled out. Great Idea.
For gamers no keys can be programmed. It is therefore virtually a standard keyboard with illuminated keys and multimedia keys.
The multimedia buttons all worked flawlessly.
The cable for connection to the computer is stable and long enough (I mean 1.80 meters).
Why did not I keep the keyboard: simply because my lighting "was too colorful." What I mean by that?
This keyboard is not only the numbers, letters and signs illuminated at the keys, but also the spaces between the keys. That was me yes from the outset clear (through the media), just want to try it yes anyway. Sometimes something looks in the pictures so very different.
And I've found that the way the buttons light gaps is brighter than the illumination of the buttons themselves (it's not like in the pictures, the keys are illuminated weaker than the spaces). Although I write with 10 fingers, but I look ever more frequently on the keys. For example, I start programs on principle "Launchy" with the shortcut Win + Y followed by the first letter of the program. But I look at the keyboard. But also in other occasions.
And since I found it uncomfortable because everything is illuminated and the key illumination itself has fallen into the overall constellation rather in the background and therefore not so much notice. It's just all just bright.
And my Logitech Illuminated Keyboard (to be replaced) are only illuminated the key labels, to be more precise, the letters, numbers and characters. Nothing more, and that makes things for me extremely pleasant :-)
What did bother me and still was one reason for the return, below the space bar, the light seemed particularly strong. When I sit in the dark in front of the monitor or while playing, I take this with my eyes always was, because it's almost garish and by the angle "falls so uncomfortable in the eye."
As a last resort (there are no perfect keyboard) I then selected only the blue light as it is hue to the darkest. Only in order to identify the key descriptions can tidy, I would turn on the lights quasi maximum and that bothered me. Would I turn down the brightness, then it was too dark and the keys were not as comfortable visible.
There are already a reviewer here on Amazon, which has this issue takes its name.
Then I played with the idea to remove the keys and at the bottom (ie below the button) to stick a black film. However, I then decided against it. Either it does not fit or.
For these reasons, I have returned the keyboard.
Apart from these above 2 points, the keyboard was impeccable, especially considering the price. It's definitely worth a try, and if it bothers it, you can return it.
The four star has always deserved in my opinion.
