LEVEL 26 (Paperback)

Customer Review

It is true that this book reads in the day, the pace is frenetic and that there is originality in some crime scenes (eg fire extinguishers). There is a very nasty and very good and even bad with the good (the Black Unit)?!?! Level 26 is a real thriller that hooks you on pages .....
But when we finished, we realize that it is full of inconsistencies and complimentary about: when we want to describe in a book the "biggest psychopath in the world", we must also provide the explanation that go with it. But nothing is known of this Sqweegel: who is he, why he did this, why is it rich at this point and especially how he done to be always where it is necessary and always at the right time (an example : its New york passage at LA hospital within hours)? He knows everything about everything, but how? Mystery!
So it's very easy to invent a character and level 26 crimes and sow every ten pages .... it is perhaps the recipe books of station, but not the novelists who respect.
Two examples among many thrillers where you can meet real realistic psychopaths: 5150 Elm Streets Patrick Senecal and The Forest of Shadows Franck Thilliez ... those make me that much more pinball Sqweegel Hollywood.
