I got the official Windows 8 drivers in the description and as to the official homepage downloaded and installed. The operating system does not recognize the card. After hours of internet research I came to the realization not cooperate the older cards with some motherboards and newer operating systems.
If, therefore, mean that it was not with me, with someone else could go ... but will merely hereby warn and say that you may need to return the goods and try another card.
Personally, I am now at the Sound Blaster SBX landed (external / USB) ... works just fine and has soud great. (Windows 8.1 / 64bit)
