Super Notebook - whether with Vista or Windows 7

I have the Samsung laptop now been 3 months - the furnishing, performance for media / office applications and processing are absolutely great, and high quality!
My experience with the notebook are now only positive, the slightly lower battery life (about 3 hours instead of the specified 5 hours) does not bother me really. Above all, this is also always on the individual requirement characteristics dependent. The CD-DVD drive can in my case also no complaints, it works perfectly and absolutely reliable!

Really stands out is the almost nonexistent heat development, even after prolonged use of notebooks. It's the same with a barely perceptible operating noise!

The Windows Experience Index assesses the major system components of the notebook as follows (on a scale from 1.0 to 7.9 - the latter being the highest rating value concerns):

4. Graphics (3-D Games) 5.9
5. Hard disk (data transfer rate) 5.4

At first I used the pre-installed Vista as Bertiebssystem, the notebook ran including fast and stable. Then I, however, chose to upgrade to Windows 7 (for 19,00 at Samsung ordered). After upgrading the function keys no longer worked as well as the Wi-Fi feature - the driver is obtained, however, on the Samsung download page. After installtion of these drivers (Easy_Display_Manager_3.0.3.8 & Wireless_LAN_Realtek_32bit_1676.1.0622.2009) everything runs again as desired and smoothly!

For the price, there are in my view only a few real alternatives, also in terms of the quality of workmanship! I would buy the notebook at any time!
