A groovy mix of jazz, funk, a touch of soul and a puff skirt with this mix unfamiliar ear bouncing trombone.
In parts reminds me of the use of trombone at parades in Latin-u. South American countries. For me, in the context of jazz and funk in any case very unusually. Even passages that are reminiscent of older jazz eras sound through.
Groovy, bubbly, in a positive sense "mass appeal", also for non-jazz fans or Kenner lifts this album while listening to the mood, let me kicking the cloth during cleaning or cooking spoon in the kitchen swing.
Favorites are for me personally, however, the pieces with vocal part. Some of the purely instrumental pieces with too little surprising transitions and tempo changes are provided me.
Overall, though full purchase recommendation, especially for listeners who are not otherwise rather devoted to jazz or the way I do not count directly to the jazz connoisseurs.
