Well written and easily accessible, this book provides a good analysis of the evolution of beliefs and social relations. I also really appreciate the hope brought by this book when so many other analyzes lead to pessimism for the future. We find the idea that our world is growing and not many can present it in regression. However, I do not share the political analysis of the last chapter "in conclusion"; this text seems to me too. As far as the review of the art seems interesting and comes in continuity with the rest of the book, as political affirmations are out of step with the rest of the book and fall as a precise analysis without affirmation that help support the opinion presented.
