After the negative reviews I almost did not buy the book. Fortunately, I have heard a very positive review on the radio and have me but then it decided to purchase - and I have not looked back. I can not connect some previous speakers (but fortunately everyone has a different taste). The story is exciting and interesting. I just wanted always more and would not have more to a few pages. Broken Harbour is certainly not an action-charged thriller, rather a book that comes closer in small increments of solution with a dark mood - which does not make it a bad book, on the contrary! Tana French always manages to pack a piece of modern Ireland in their books. The economic recession of Ireland is here omnipresent and highlights the sombre mood in the book. All characters have to carry their packages and have to try to deal with the case. Each in his own way. I am glad that I bought it and am looking forward to the next book by Tana French. Please keep it up!
