Processing:
-------------------
My cup is processed immaculate, ie the glaze is completely, the cup bottom up and in general there are no defects.
Design & feel:
-----------------------
This is of course a matter of taste, but I find the cup visually amazing and she has already too many surprise and subsequent enthusiasm out with friends & relatives.
The handle is comfortable shaped so that the cup - in my opinion - can keep very pleasant.
Cleaning:
---------------
Here's a first deficiency: Cleaning by hand is of course with the octopus inside it conceivable difficult and you risk is to scratch the tentacles or even cancel them at worst.
BUT: The cup is dishwasher safe !! :) And is also completely clean it. After more than 2 months, still show no signs of wear on the cup. TOP!
Storage:
---------------
I guess that just about anyone can overlook this point, but nevertheless it should be mentioned: The cup can be due to the Octopus of course not stack any! With whom acute shortage of space in the kitchen shelves there, this may well be a less relevant)
Finally, a somewhat curious problem !:
-------------------------------------------------- ---------
The cup has a small hole in the soil, which leads into the Octopus (guess that will come from the burning process, so that the ceramic shatters not because of tensions)
And now the curious: In this cavity always holds a little water (guess it is the porous inner).
The mixture is poured now a hot drink as coffee or tea in the cup, then within seconds the floor under the cup completely wet because the moisture is pushed outwards.
Here it is then always: just below the cup and also the cup bottom wipe it off and the matter is settled.
Have something never experienced before .... I think it's now not incredibly dramatic, but that would be somehow better able to solve.
Seal the hole with water and heat-resistant adhesive, etc. could help here!
CONCLUSION:
---------
A great cup - especially visually, but also of handling here.
The enumerated problems are largely more "problems" and therefore only 1 star deduction :)
