A good five years ago, there were Dieter Bohlen and Thomas Anders at the Master of Talk Thomas Gottschalk (Wetten dass ...?!) On the couch, playing happily reunited pop couples like "sweetie" and celebrated a truly unexpectedly successful comeback with 6 top ten singles (most recently "TV Makes The Superstar") and an equal number of top ten albums (most recently "Universe"). But somehow the air was last out and then came - almost expected - the Sang and soundless end for Modern Talking - because of Back For Good! Now that the superstars are (still) super, Bohlen went up to love Herbergspapi and even heaves Good times-bad-times-star on the hit list, no more time for a project that his heyday is now times (unfortunately) has behind him. And perhaps, as is rumored, there were again heated argument between the man with the white sneakers and the black leather ballet slippers ... As a fan you have it these days certainly not easy: it meant sudden end of Modern Talking at the same time the cancellation of numerous concerts, a tired farewell concert without additions and now there's still ne cheap farewell CD - great, with all the hits that are in the hardcore long in CD-cabinet. Would the fans actually play a role, not just the record sales and any bonuses, there would have been next year a final album for the 20th anniversary, perhaps with ner new farewell single and a goodbye tour in 2004. That would have the cash for the rest be much better ring ... This album will hopefully gather dust on the shelves, even if it's kind of a shame.
