The mechanical quality of the Yokes is very good. In both directions, there is a precisely defined basic position by spring force. Turn and press the control horn goes smoothly and without squeaking noises. Flying is much more accurate than with a joystick. The 3 power levers work pleasantly and accurately. Nearly a dozen switches can be / receipts from etc with functions for the chassis, flaps, spoilers, trims, autopilot. This is much more than the angenhmer shortcuts on the keyboard, because only one finger for operating ranges.
When installing on Vista32 I had first the problem that the yoke was not recognized. On my laptop with Windows XP SP2, however, everything worked right away. This gave me a curious idea: the first computer with Windows XP Start (Yoke is detected), then restart and boot with Vista. Since then, the Yoke works reliably.
Complementing highly recommended are the pedals from Saitek. And the crowning glory is TrackIR (hardware that detects head movements and the angle of the FS changed accordingly). Yoke + pedals + TrackIR together give a degree of realism of nearly lets you forget that this is only simulation.
