A good alternative to films in which the heroes every 5 minutes to shoot anyone. The young cop Megan Turner (played by Jamie Lee Curtis) device already in their first use as freshly baked cop in trouble: If armed robbery she shoots the perpetrator with her service weapon, a .44 Magnum. However, this disappears in the mantle of a witnessing and Megan is accused of murder for fun. Their situation worsens further than you find out that some people with bullets, in which her name was engraved, were murdered. Then there's the likeable Eugene Hunt (Ron Silver), which acts initially harmless. But what is really behind it? Jamie Lee Curtis presents very believable the complex character Megan Turner. Ron Silver also embodies his role well. One can rightly say that this movie did not get the necessary praise that he deserves. In an age where women in action movies had to prevail only slowly verbrigen Kathryn Bigelow (director) and Jamie Lee Curtis, a tour de force. A good movie for rainy days and insomnia.
