The story is quickly told and needs no words - like everything in the game. However, I will not say a word here about it because you will simply see for yourself how true the saying "A picture is worth a thousand words" but may be. No matter what scene you can see, it works only by what you just see. Grandios underscored by sound effects and music from DVA, where I just want to emphasize the sound effects, because here you have all the effects of oral sounds (can put it that way?) Created. The resulting effects are just terrific warm and always bring a smile out.
Schmunzler encounter it at Optik at any point. Quirky characters wherever you look - which you should note that this style quite typical in many Czech works - and sensation 99% of all objects respond to a type of mouse click or contacts as Drüber Wipe. But that is quite good because Botanicula is not a typical Point'n'Click, but rather a mix of hidden object and Point'n'Click. Similar to Samorost clicks (or pulls, or wipes) can therefore in one place and hopes to achieve something that planzliche hero pack of Botanicula further brings the final credits. That is certainly a lot of things here ragieren really intensively looking for all kinds of things a kind of reward, or even the incentive. Big plus!
Unfortunately, the guy is quickly reached and just when the game starts showcases its strong qualities in the form of quite nice puzzles. It's a pity there is also little incentive to play the game again, unless you really tried to find all the hidden animations, which can be overlooked added quickly.
That the game was created in Flash doest wonders world no harm, it turns out, however, especially if you want the image to 100% screen size games. See Illustrations razor sharp out - lies in the matter - and the hand-drawn things washed. But is no point deduction worthy in my opinion. Worth mentioning it is still.
The complete bundle can be quite impressive. Good processed as usual and the soundtrack is also very well done, if it were not an issue, what bothers me personally something. In this CD sound effects from the game are also involved in the music, so called: Some tracks are a bit uneasy, even annoying. Pure music, like Machinarium would have been better in my ears here.
So loving the game is also so much praise it deserves for the many creative approaches (even Hurvínek and Spejbl, as well as figures from Amanita Design have cameos!) ... So much it hurts almost because of the incredible brevity and for me not to give something "difficult" Soundtrack CD full rating. But: In this game you could wish for recycling (haha - wine pun), is so hot that I'd love to see more adventures of our Bio-hero and for that I'm keeping like the option to have a better rating on.
Kudos to Amanita and all thumbs up for this little piece of work - in many ways! Classic Adventure-lovers will be well advised, however due to the mostly hidden object gameplay like a Preview.
