- Nokia X (without Google services including Store): tested in the store, its slowness is just repulsive;
- Moto E: excellent, fast, responsive, but too big for me;
- The XPERIA E1: despite its lack of reactivity in tests mentioned websites, I have taken advantage of an Amazon coupon 99 euros pack "Music" (with headphones), coupled with an offer repayment of 30 euros or 69 euros!
I do not regret this purchase. The phone does not feel at all when we put it in a pants pocket, the sound of HP is very loud and clear (useful to hear ringtones in noisy environments), and contrary to what tests it is very responsive!
Just avoid to overload Apps. Namely: the 4 GB internal memory announced, only 2 GB are available, 1.52 GB for the user (that's right that remains available to install Apps). So mandatory micro-SD card for photos and music.
Music, precisely: in my pack, the supplied headphones Sony MDR-ZX300 is not a ZX100 as advertised! So a better model. The Walkman function is very well done: one controls all thanks to the dedicated button, placed on top of the smartphone. The quality of the Jack 3,5 "output is excellent and available settings, very numerous.
Camera: Not tested, but I do not expect miracles. This is a 3 Mpix should just be OK for extra instant ...
For the Web and reading, the definition of the screen is sufficient in view of its size. In Chrome Scrolling is smooth, the screen is responsive, even view "computer" version of websites to load heavy enough, zoom by pinching or spreading the fingers works perfectly (not like on the Nokia X ... ). But of course, do not open more than 2 tabs, again because of the rather limited memory.
Telephony side, no worries: the sound is loud and clear talk, my interlocutors hear me very well through the "reduction of ambient noise."
Battery life: I have only one day of use, so hard to say ... But after the first charge, it is still 20% battery after 1 day 1/2, with approx. 30 min. phone calls, Internet surfing 3G 2H, 2H music. So it is quite "in the standard".
Some negative points:
- Coating of highly reflective screen and taking many fingerprints: Mandatory screen protector!
- The plastic shell is hard, and not "soft touch" like the other models mentioned above. Result: the phone sometimes tends to slip out of my hands. I'll add a shell TPU (few euros).
