Had the grill unfortunately send back. Chipped enamel on cooking grate and a non-tight fitting lid vent ... Thanks for the good service from Amazon.
Have brought with now a Dancook 1400 and am fully satisfied.
Nevertheless, I found this good BBQ. since it reproduces also produce other every now and defective equipment has grill this, deserves because of the price in my opinion 4 star.

Anyone choosing a kettle grill should be clear, this is a not a conventional kettle grill Grill.

I'm starting even just to occupy me with kettle barbecues. But due to some reviews here should something clear: A conventional grill operates at a high, direct (radiation) heat. A kettle grill is rather for indirect grilling, so lower temperatures but longer cooking times. You can also directly (regular) barbecue. But the rust is not adjustable in height and in proportion to the barbecued food is normal grills far away from the coal, so it comes to little radiation heat and grilled food needs correspondingly longer to be crispy. Advantage here also thick pieces are then :-)
The purpose and the strength of a kettle grill is slow grilling / cooking at relatively low temperatures, which are kept constant over a long period. The most common beginner's mistake (also with me ;-)) to close the cover often to look for. That takes just exercise / experience. If you do not often make the lid on the grill food is also in indirect grilling brown and crisp.
Anyone who is unsure should now be first informed in relevant forums etc, and then decide whether he / want a traditional or a kettle grill needs.

In this respect I am convinced this is a very good Proddukt having bought (especially the price / Leistunsverältnis ago). A comparable Grill at this price will hardly find.
