really good - so much technology in small package !!

I have had many cameras. Most just for testing purposes. My current equipment: Canon S95, Olymplus ZX1, Sony Alpha 35 50 1.8, 85 2.8, Tamron 17-50 2.8, Tamron 18-200, 35 1.8
I've always found with little much more interesting, but then again once the step to DSLR made for the "superior" image quality. Well long story short: I'll take my DSLR with a joyful heart to sell all lenses again. My "LIVE" tests have shown that I can do SX40 practically equivalent pictures in good light with the Canon and this at a focal length of 24-840mm !!! Prefer such a lens on the Sony, it would probably cost 15,000 and his 3 kg, or just take always 4-5 different lenses and always have the wrong plan :-)

OK, I have a bit hurried along in testing and give here like my tip further: Let Just all non-Portraits-photos through the program "Photomizer" through and they will be amazed at what fantastic results they will get. Your photos will automatically improves subtle. Even my famous professional photographers were amazed at the results. Ah yes, I have utomatisch for testing almost everything in "A" mode added in SX40. Amazing was that the much criticized too small and too little resolution display of the SX40 much better could be seen as the great high-resolution (920,000 pixels) LCD of Sony DSLR. I had to use the electronic viewfinder in the sun at the Sony, because I just could not see anything on the screen, not at the SX40. Clear that the Alpha 35 also has a few strengths where the SX40 can not keep up.

In short, absolute recommendation. Try it yourself and you will be pleasantly surprised.
