Educational ... I do not know. The colors he already knew, dice were familiar to him ... most likely in the way that is ever played and all train as social behavior, but you do at least as well and outside several in a forest.
The durability, however, I judge to be bad! The pre-drilled holes are not exactly over each other so that the wood studs that hold the game board halves precisely those fray. In fact, I would have liked a structure made of plywood, which may be slightly more expensive and would have been the game behavior of small warhorse clearly reasonable. Cardboard, we have this game now for three weeks of daily use, already shows signs of disintegration in any case, the end of the beautiful game itself is foreseeable.
That's for 19 euros clearly too little of what is on offer in this respect.
Update 13.08.2012
After more than half a year, my fear has confirmed in terms of durability: the boards dissolve, had now to be stuck on, have kinks ... play allows the game only if you touch it with kid gloves.
Too bad, because our son plays there still like. From time to time.
