The top dome of the lantern is made from opaque to white polycarbonate type material whilst the body is made from a rubberised plastic material. The design is examined did the unit can stand on its base Either with the dome pointing upwards or it can be suspended downwards via two neat folding hooks Which fold out of the way and into the base When not in use.
The unit features an LED with a maximum output of up to 120 lumen Although you can dim this by pressing the power button Which is firm enough to prevent accidental operation but easy to use. At a minimum brightness of 4 lumen the unit will run for about 160 hours and at full intensity of around 120 lumens for about 10 hours on a set of batteries. At minimum brightness The Lantern is ideal for Indicating the entrance to a tent etc. in the dark whilst on full brightness you can read in comfort close to the lamp.
This is a well made, neat lantern with variable brightness and good battery life Which you can use in Either in upward or downward orientation, plus, it will fit in your bag Easily etc. and comes with a conditional 3 year warranty. Recommended.
(I was Supplied with this lantern for review purposes).
