Actually, I have just purchased these shell because it does not yet exist to designate the original covers from the Apple Store. I, however, already got the iPhone to launch, I did not want to leave it unprotected. I was so pleasantly surprised by the quality that I will probably stay with this. The edges are not as hard as expected, but soft. They adapt perfectly to the rim and you see the shell hardly. Really highly recommended.
