Even Li-Ion batteries (3.6-3.7 V or 7,2-7,4V) can be recharged thanks to the ingenious clamp and adjustable contact pins. Here, the battery can be optionally set or placed vertically on the narrow side. It is held also in the latter case by the clamping device !!
In addition, 1 to 2 pcs NiMH / NiCd AA Mignon or AAA Micro cells (1.2 volts) are charged.
Last but not least to mobile phones, PDAs, MP3 players and navigation devices via the included USB charging cable that comes with a variety of adapters, to be charged. For this purpose, so no expansion of the battery is required! USB Output: 5.3 VDC, however, at a maximum of 500 mA (which is sufficient for most rechargeable via USB devices - but not, for example, for mobile devices with hard drives or similar devices such as iPod, iPhone or iPad).
So there are 3 different types of connection with each other charging current (voltage) outputs.

What is needed is a 100-240 V AC, but a connection via a 12V car socket is also possible.
